Welcome to this week’s roundup of movements among major law firms, in which we sum up significant hires, promotions, departures, and other announcements.

Clark Wilson LLP

Connor Watt has joined the firm as an associate in its commercial real estate law practice group. Watt’s practice covers all stages of a real estate project, including funding projects via lending arrangements, developing property, leasing, acquisitions, and dispositions.

Dentons

Dentons has welcomed Kate Stevens as a partner in the firm’s corporate group in Calgary. Stevens brings over a decade of experience providing legal services to public issuers and private companies in various transactions, including equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate reorganizations. Her knowledge also extends to corporate governance, regulatory compliance, continuous disclosure, and other corporate matters.

McMillan has welcomed Darlene Crimeni as a partner practising litigation and dispute resolution. The firm has also welcomed associates Sarah Stumpf (financial services) and Kritika Sharma (litigation and dispute resolution, employment and labour relations).
