BLG, Book Erskine, Hammond Flesias act in $3.5-million commercial case

Stikeman Elliott, Thornton Grout Finnigan, Torkin Manes, Dentons, Fasken, McCarthy Tétrault, Miller Thomson, Teplitsky, and Torys made appearances in multiple commercial list matters before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice last week.

The week’s most notable commercial suit was the $3.5-million case Vivendi Ticketing U.S. LLC v Up in Code Inc. et al. Borden Ladner Gervais LLP partner Ira Nishisato represented plaintiff Vivendi Ticketing U.S. LLC. He focuses on complex commercial litigation and commercial fraud.

Book Erskine LLP founding partner Hilary Book advised Renascence Club Corporation and two other defendants. Her practice includes contractual disputes and commercial real estate litigation.

Hammond Flesias partner Alex Flesias acted for Property Development Inc. and six other defendants. He focuses on construction law and real estate matters. Up in Code Inc. and four other defendants appeared to be unrepresented.

Stikeman Elliott LLP appeared in four cases
