Arrival of Hui Ling Teo continues the firm's strategy to increase partner headcount in Asia
Reed Smith has appointed Hui Ling Teo as a partner in the global transportation industry group, based in Singapore.
Joining from Milbank, Teo specialises in high value transactions and has led transactions in excess of US $2.8 billion, advising aircraft leasing companies, airlines, manufacturers and financial institutions.
Teo brings expertise in pre-delivery purchase financing, large portfolio trading and financing, M&A, restructuring and insolvency, and alternative investment structures. She is passionate about supporting the industry with green and sustainable financing to accelerate the move towards green and sustainable operations and flights. Teo has more than 10 years of legal experience, having worked at Baker & McKenzie.Wong & Leow, and Stephenson Harwood LLP before joining Milbank in 2015.

Teo’s arrival continues Reed Smith’s ongoing expansion of its Asia partner headcount. The firm now has nearly 150 lawyers, including 43 partners, across its four offices in Asia: Beijing, Shanghai, Singapore and Hong Kong.
