Sean Griffin takes CEO mantle at Langlois

Sean Griffin has taken on the mantle of CEO at Langlois. 

He officially stepped into the role on October 1, replacing Jean François Gagnon. 

“As I take up the torch, I am committed to continuing this journey, further solidifying our leadership position, preserving our values and mission of legal excellence, and supporting our ambitious growth initiatives”, Griffin said. 

Griffin commenced with Langlois in 2016 and headed up the litigation group for three years. He has tackled regulatory compliance and governance matters, conducted internal investigations and guided clients through regulatory investigations. His practice also constitutional and administrative law. He also acts as strategic advisor to several clients on issues involving governance and regulatory compliance.

Langlois, which was named among the Top 10 Law Firms in Quebec this year and Regional Law Firm of the Year – Quebec at the Canadian Law Awards in 2023, confirmed that Gagnon would be concentrating on his own practice, working with the firm’s team.
