Excellence awardees were just released and winners to be announced in May
Hot on the heels of unveiling the first round of awardees for the upcoming Canadian Law Awards, Lexpert and Canadian Lawyer are pleased to announce that PwC will serve as Official Ballot Accountants for the annual celebration of the legal industry’s individuals, organizations, and achievements.
On Monday, Lexpert and Canadian Lawyer announced the 2025 Excellence Awardees – a shortlist of outstanding individuals, organizations, and accomplishments in the legal profession, as selected by the Canadian Law Awards team based on industry expertise.
An independent panel of judges will then review and score the awardees to select winners across 23 categories. As Official Ballot Accountants, PwC will fully verify the selection process.
A shortlist of notable deals will be announced separately in April.

Nominations for this year’s Canadian Law Awards closed in January. Winners will be announced and celebrated at the awards gala on May 7, 2025, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
