Deal finalists announced for Canadian Law Awards

Following an incredible nationwide response to the call for nominations, the finalists for the deal categories of the inaugural Canadian Law Awards are now available online.

The Canadian Law Awards deal categories recognize the landmark deals completed in 2019 for their size, complexity, breadth, and innovation, and celebrate the executives, in-house counsel, lawyers and bankers who together shaped the key transactions.

This has been announced ahead of the other award categories to allow time to add any parties involved in the listed deals that were missed during the nomination process. The full list of finalists across all award categories will be announced in March 31.

If your firm or organization contributed to any of the listed deals and have not been included, please contact [email protected] as soon as possible.

Winners will be revealed during the black-tie gala on October 6 at the Fairmont Royal York in Toronto, where hundreds of legal professionals will gather to celebrate each other’s efforts.
