Known as the black sheep of business law and founder of YLaw Group, Leena Yousefi is a lawyer and entrepreneur who has succeeded in the business of law. She leads the fastest-growing female-led law firm in British Columbia. Yousefi was successful counsel on several ground-breaking cases in B.C., including a precedent-setting child abduction case that attracted national and international attention, as well as a case that explored religious concepts relating to marriages overseas and the interplay of same and the Canadian justice system. In addition, Yousefi is a tireless contributor and advocate for access to justice, completing more than 700 hours of pro bono work and sponsoring the Best Lawyering Award at the University of Victoria.
