Hansell McLaughlin Advisory Group welcomes new partner Eric Morgan

Eric Morgan has joined the Toronto-based Hansell McLaughlin Advisory Group.

Morgan joins Hansell LLP as a partner. His practice focuses on corporate governance and dispute resolution. He has advised and acted for directors and senior managers of Canadian organizations on matters such as risk management, subsidiary company governance, shareholder disputes and anti-corruption.

Prior to joining Hansell McLaughlin Advisory Group, Morgan was a litigator at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP. He has appeared before various Canadian courts, including the Supreme Court of Canada. He has also assisted clients in arbitrations and mediations.

He has published a book on professional negligence and has spoken at many conferences.

Morgan earned an economics degree from the University of Toronto. He studied law at Oxford University, then taught criminal law at the same school. In 2011, he was called to the Ontario bar.
