The week’s most notable commercial suit was the $333,309,379.73 case Romspen Investment Corporation v Woodbine Mall Holdings Inc. et al. Dickinson Wright LLP partner David Preger advised applicant Romspen Investment Corporation. He handles court-supervised real estate workouts.

Stikeman Elliott LLP partner Aaron Kreaden acted for Specialty Life Insurance Inc. and one other plaintiff. Daumier Financial Services Inc. and 11 other defendants appeared to be unrepresented.
