Miller Thomson appears in six commercial list suits this past week
Miller Thomson, Bennett Jones, Aird & Berlis, BLG, Chaitons, Goodmans, and McCarthy Tétrault made appearances in multiple commercial list matters before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice last week.
Last week’s most notable commercial suit was the $10-million case North York Excavating & Contracting Limited et al v D'Urzo et al. Enzo Di Iorio, Vaughan managing partner at Miller Thomson LLP, advised North York Excavating & Contracting Limited and two other plaintiffs.
Fred Tayar, founding partner at Fred Tayar & Associates Professional Corporation, acted for F. D'Urzo and one other plaintiff. He has extensive experience with complex corporate/commercial disputes. N. D'Urzo and three other defendants appeared to be unrepresented.
Di Iorio, who worked on the North York Excavating case, also represented A. Darolfi and eight other defendants in Tari v Darolfi et al. He is a commercial and construction litigator.
