Dickinson Wright, Pettle Law, Regency Law Group act in $10-million commercial case

Bennett Jones; Blaney McMurtry; Cassels; Dickinson Wright; Drudi, Alexiou, Kuchar; Fogler, Rubinoff; LOLG; McMillan; Miller Thomson; and Torys made multiple appearances in commercial list matters before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice this week.

The week’s most notable commercial suit was the $10,030,913 case C & K Mortgage Services Inc. et al v Village Developments Inc. et al. Dickinson Wright LLP partner David Preger advised C & K Mortgage Services Inc. and 12 other applicants.

Noah Aresta, an associate and civil litigator at Regency Law Group, acted for respondent GTA Solid Contracting Inc. Michael Pettle – principal at Pettle Law, which handles corporate-commercial and business law matters – advised respondent 9929916 Canada Inc. Village Developments Inc. and three other respondents appeared to be unrepresented.
