This week, Bennett Jones, Adair Goldblatt Bieber, and Thornton Grout Finnigan appeared in commercial matters ranging from $1.7 to $4.445 billion. Dickinson Wright, Himelfarb Proszanski, Diamond and Diamond, Fasken, Lenczner Slaght, and Ross Nasseri acted in multimillion-dollar cases.
The week’s most notable commercial suit was the $4.445-billion case Sakab Saudi Holding Company et al v Saad Khalid S Al Jabri et al. Thornton Grout Finnigan LLP founding partner John Finnigan advised Bridging Finance Inc. and 15 other plaintiffs.
