New intake is part of a global cohort of 37
Clifford Chance has promoted five new partners in Asia Pacific as part of a global cohort of 37 lawyers elected to the partnership – the largest promotion round for the firm since 2007.
The new partners are drawn from all of the firm's market-leading practices and reflect continued investment and growth in every region. The appointments, which took effect on 1 May 2022, reflect the firm's global strategic growth priorities and build on significant numbers of lateral hires in the past year. Forty-one percent of the global cohort of new partners is female – more than in any previous promotion round.
Together these new partners specialise across a range of the firm’s leading practice and product areas that are critical to clients and their strategic needs. In particular, many of this year’s partners are working actively with the firm’s financial investor clients across a range of geographies and products.
