Johanne Brodeur is the next president of the
Barreau du Québec. Brodeur won the position by acclamation and will assume the role June 1, the barreau announced today.
Also assuming a senior role at the barreau is Bernard Synnott, who becomes vice president after taking almost 56 per cent of the vote in a race against Julie Latour. Almost 37 per cent of barreau members cast a vote.
