Peter Nguyen is SVP, Legal, Associate General Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary of The Descartes Systems Group Inc. He is a former 2x general counsel of high growth technology companies, the founder of the GC Forum, a networking organization for Canadian law department leaders, and an advisor to legaltech companies. He regularly advises his in-house clients on corporate/commercial, M&A, corporate finance, employment and privacy law.

He is a frequent speaker and contributor on topics relating to legal technology, legal operations and the practice of law in the in-house environment. Peter graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Toronto and is admitted to practice law in Ontario and New York.
