On March 14, 2022, ESO, a key player in data and software solutions for emergency medical services, fire departments, hospitals, and government agencies, has recently acquired Toronto-based Interdev Technologies. This acquisition marks a strategic expansion of ESO's operations in Canada, emphasizing its dedication to the Canadian market. ESO confirmed it will keep Interdev's Toronto office operational.

Chris Dillie, President and CEO of ESO, expressed excitement about the company's growth in Canada. He highlighted the intention to collaborate with provincial healthcare leaders to offer a comprehensive range of localized products, services, and research insights aimed at enhancing community health and safety.

Interdev Technologies, founded in 2000, specializes in a robust suite of SaaS products that equip Emergency Services with crucial data. Their solutions focus on enabling Emergency Services workers to effectively use data for evidence-based decision-making. Their product offerings include mobile ePCR software, records management software, credential management, community paramedicine, and analytics.

Dr. Brent Myers, ESO's Chief Medical Officer, pointed out ESO's substantial prehospital dataset, which includes input from over 2,000 emergency services agencies in North America. ESO aims to broaden this dataset to provide more comprehensive insights for healthcare and public safety entities. The integration with Interdev is expected to enhance patient care, clinical training, and operational efficiency by combining ESO's data tracking capabilities with Interdev's deep understanding of Canadian Emergency Services.
