Ontario Clinical Imaging Network (OCINet) announced its governance consolidation with two former clinical imaging repositories operating in the Province of Ontario, Southwestern Ontario Diagnostic Imaging Network (SWODIN) and Northern and Eastern Ontario Diagnostic Imaging Network (NEODIN), in 2022 and 2023 to position OCINet as the sole provider of clinical imaging repository services in Ontario.

This consolidation will allow OCINet to pursue technical integration of the three clinical imaging repositories to form a province-wide clinical imaging repository, which will streamline access to clinical imaging by clinicians across the province, improve patient care, reduce unnecessary testing and provide efficiencies in the delivery of healthcare services in Ontario.
