On September 6, 2023, TorQuest Partners, a leading Canadian private equity firm, completed its investment in Brimich Logistics, a family-owned supply chain management and third-party logistics (3PL) business in Brantford, Ontario. The Fergus family, Brimich's original owners, retained significant shares in the company. However, the transaction value was not disclosed.

Brimich, operational for over 25 years, provides integrated transportation, logistics, and warehousing solutions. The company, with a workforce exceeding 400, offers ambient, refrigerated, and frozen storage services in five locations.

This investment by TorQuest is expected to enhance Brimich's growth in Southern Ontario without altering its leadership team or daily operations. Jonathan Fraser, Partner at TorQuest, commended the Fergus family for their effective management since Brimich's founding in 1997, focusing on customer-centric services like food safety and responsiveness. TorQuest plans to work with the existing management to boost Brimich's capabilities and outreach in the region.
