On October 31, 2023, SatixFy Communications Ltd. completed a $60 million deal with MDA Ltd., where MDA acquired SatixFy's digital payload division and UK subsidiary for US$40 million. Additionally, MDA made an advanced payment of US$20 million under new commercial agreements for future space-grade chip orders, which includes a prior US$10 million payment from June. SatixFy retains its ASIC intellectual property and continues to develop new chips.

This strategic transaction enhances the collaboration between SatixFy and MDA, utilizing SatixFy's digital payload chip technology for advanced satellite payloads. It aligns with SatixFy's goal to be a leading technology provider in satellite payload design, featuring multi-beam forming, beam-hopping, and radiation-hardened chipsets.

Nir Barkan, Acting CEO of SatixFy, highlighted the transaction as a testament to SatixFy's market leadership and innovation in space-grade chip technology. The deal marks a significant step in SatixFy's strategy to focus on technology provision for satellite payload design companies, developing groundbreaking chipsets for multi-beam digital antennas and on-board processing.
