DIF Capital Partners has concluded an investment in RFNOW Inc., a Canadian internet service provider, to support the expansion of its telecommunications network. RFNOW offers services including enterprise fiber, residential fiber, fixed wireless internet, and phone services via its 1,500 km fiber optic network and tower assets in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. This investment is channeled through DIF's CIF III fund and is designed to improve telecom services for residents, businesses, and public services in historically underserved areas. The enhancement to RFNOW’s high-speed fiber network is expected to boost economic and societal prospects in these communities. This move by DIF follows its previous successful fiber investments in rural Canada. Chris Kennedy, RFNOW's CEO, emphasized the significant advantages this partnership brings to RFNOW's clientele and workforce. Willem Jansonius of DIF Capital Partners acknowledged RFNOW's pivotal role in bridging internet service gaps in remote Canadian areas and expressed enthusiasm about the collaborative growth ahead.
