MSP Corp Acquired by Alfar Capital and Walter Capital Partners for $100M+ and Merged with Groupe Access
On May 2, 2023, Alfar Capital and Walter Capital Partners have successfully acquired MSP Corp, a prominent Canadian managed service provider group, in a transaction exceeding $100M. Post-acquisition, MSP Corp will merge with Groupe Access, another leading managed service provider specializing in technology and cybersecurity solutions. The amalgamated entity, retaining the name MSP Corp, forms a national Canadian platform for managed services, positioned to lead in digital transformation, cloud computing, and cybersecurity. Majority-owned by Alfar Capital and Walter Capital Partners, the new MSP Corp includes BDC Capital as a minority shareholder. Management and employees, along with CEOs of the merged entities, collectively own over 10%, reflecting their commitment to the company's future success. The unified company will be steered by Habib Malik, former CEO of Groupe Access, and will continue driving growth through organic and acquisitive means. Over 400 IT experts will serve clients across Canada.
