China’s Rongsheng Petrochemical Co. Ltd. expanded its global footprint by opening a new office in Calgary, Alberta. This strategic move marks the company’s first physical presence in Canada and reflects its intent to strengthen ties within the North American energy market.

As part of this expansion, Rongsheng commenced the purchase of Canadian crude oil from Suncor Energy, one of Canada's leading integrated energy companies. The partnership provides Rongsheng with a stable supply of high-quality crude, while offering Suncor greater access to Asia’s growing demand for energy resources.
