On January 31, 2025, J.C. Flowers & Co., a private investment firm specializing in financial services, acquired a majority stake in Infinite Investment Systems Ltd. ("Infinite"), a Canadian portfolio management solutions provider. The transaction aimed to enhance Infinite’s product offerings, expand its services, and extend its market reach both domestically and internationally.

Infinite, a long-established leader in the Canadian wealth management industry, is renowned for its flagship portfolio management solution, Harmony. The company has focused on technological advancements and product suite expansion to meet evolving market demands. J.C. Flowers identified Infinite as a strategic investment to support its next growth phase.

Louis Vachon, Operating Partner at J.C. Flowers and former CEO of National Bank of Canada, along with Eric Rahe, Managing Director and Co-President at J.C. Flowers, will join Infinite’s Board of Directors. The investment reflects J.C. Flowers’ commitment to leveraging its expertise and resources to bolster Infinite’s growth and innovation.

McCarthy Tétrault LLP served as legal counsel to J.C. Flowers & Co., while Stikeman Elliott acted for the sellers. Transaction terms were not disclosed.
