On December 20, 2024, SureKap LLC, a portfolio company of LFM Capital, acquired Kraken Automation Inc., a leading provider of automated packaging systems based in Burlington, Ontario. Concurrently, SureKap rebranded as Excelis Packaging Automation to reflect its expanded automation capabilities.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
