On May 14, 2024, Béton Provincial Ltée acquired multiple assets from CRH Canada Group Inc., expanding its operations in Quebec, Newfoundland and Labrador, and New York. The deal included the Ash Grove cement plant in Joliette, six cement terminals, nine ready-mix concrete plants, and two quarries in Greater Montreal. The newly acquired cement operations will operate under the revived Ciment St-Laurent / St. Lawrence Cement brand.
The acquisition strengthens Béton Provincial’s vertical integration, supply chain control, and leadership in sustainable concrete solutions.
