Navacord acquired SécuriGlobe Assurance Voyage, one of Canada’s largest travel insurance brokers, effective April 1, 2024. The Montreal-based firm specializes in travel protection, health insurance, and emergency medical coverage, particularly for snowbirds and visitors to Canada. The deal doubles Navacord’s travel portfolio and strengthens its presence in Quebec.

BCF advised Blue Cross Canassurance, SécuriGlobe’s former owner, with a team led by Gino Martel. Canassurance’s in-house legal team, led by Marc-Olivier Sioui and Noémie Murphy, also assisted.

The acquisition reinforces Navacord’s growth strategy and its position as a leading travel risk management provider in Canada.
