On January 16, 2025, Ginger Group, Europe’s leading independent engineering firm, acquired a majority stake in Quebec-based Groupe ABS. Ginger, backed by private equity firm Sagard, will integrate Groupe ABS’s 700 employees, creating a global network of over 3,500 professionals across 100 countries.

Daniel Mercier remains President of Groupe ABS, which will serve as Ginger’s North American hub. The partnership enhances expertise, resources, and competitiveness for major projects.
