On November 19, 2024, Valsoft Corporation acquired Above the Treeline, Inc. (Edelweiss), a leading digital platform for book discovery and sales, marking its entry into book industry software. Edelweiss, used by major publishers and hosting 95% of the U.S. frontlist, connects publishers, booksellers, and librarians with workflow and analytics tools.

Valsoft aims to support Edelweiss' growth in the U.S. and expand internationally while retaining its leadership team.

Valsoft was represented internally by David Felicissimo, ShinJay (Ssin) Choi, and Pamela Romero. Edelweiss was advised by Hennepin Partners LLC and Varnum LLP.
