On September 26, 2024, Live Nation Canada announced Rogers Stadium, Toronto’s largest seasonal outdoor concert venue at YZD (formerly known as the Downsview Airport lands). Northcrest Developments, the lead developer for YZD, has entered into an agreement with Live Nation Canada to host Rogers Stadium, scheduled to open in summer 2025, accommodating up to 50,000 attendees. This seasonal venue will operate over a multi-year period as Northcrest begins its transformation of the site into a series of communities as part of its larger development plan for the 370-acre YZD site.

The project aligns with Northcrest's vision to activate the site before long-term development begins, ensuring the land is put to dynamic use in the interim.
