On December 20, 2024, Plazacorp Willowgrove Residential Real Estate Development Trust (REDT) announced its secondary offering of Class A and Class F units, targeting up to $75 million at $10.00 per unit. The offering closed on December 31, 2024, with a minimum subscription of $60 million achieved. The proceeds will fund the development of two residential subdivisions in Markham and Stouffville, Ontario, comprising 676 homes and 297 serviced lots.

The offering was managed by CIBC World Markets Inc. as the sole agent. Legal advisors included Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP for REDT and Stikeman Elliott LLP for the agent. Plazacorp, a leading developer, committed $15 million to ensure project completion. The trust aims to provide investors with a 20% annualized return by completing and selling all units within four years.
