Trustar Underwriting Inc., an Ontario-based managing general agent, entered receivership on December 24, 2024, due to allegations against former CEO Daniel Moses. An investigation revealed claims of unplaced policies, misrepresentation to clients, and misappropriation of premiums. Grant Thornton was appointed receiver.
