On August 28, 2024, funds advised by Apax Partners LLP reached a definitive agreement to acquire a controlling stake in Veriforce, a global supply chain risk management (SCRM) solutions provider, from Thoma Bravo. The transaction, subject to regulatory approvals, did not disclose financial terms. Veriforce, headquartered in the U.S. with hubs in Canada and the UK, expanded to over 1,300 clients and 90,000 contractors across 140 countries under Thoma Bravo’s ownership, achieving sixfold revenue growth through strategic M&A and organic initiatives.

Apax plans to leverage its experience in the SCRM sector, including investments in Alcumus and EcoOnline, to drive Veriforce’s global expansion and entry into new verticals.

Harris Williams advised Apax, William Blair acted as exclusive financial advisor to Veriforce, and Borden Ladner Gervais LLP handled the Canadian aspects of the deal for Apax Partners.
