Accenture plc (NYSE: ACN) announced on July 21, 2022, and completed its acquisition of Eclipse Automation Inc. on August 29, 2022. Based in Cambridge, Ontario, Eclipse Automation specializes in manufacturing automation and robotics solutions for industries such as life sciences, automotive, and energy. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The acquisition integrated Eclipse’s 800 professionals into Accenture’s Industry X division, enhancing its capabilities in advanced automation and digital manufacturing by leveraging AI, cloud, and data to boost productivity and sustainability.
