MNP, a mid-market accounting and consulting firm, has acquired the St. John’s, Newfoundland practice of PwC Canada, effective August 7, 2023.

PwC partner Curtis Gagne and the majority of the PwC St. John’s team wjoined MNP’s existing team in St. John's. Additionally, Ron Walsh, a retired PwC partner and long-time former Managing Partner of PwC’s St. John's and NL region, also joined MNP.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

This acquisition is part of MNP's ongoing strategy to expand its presence in Atlantic Canada.
