Brookfield Asset Management and DigitalBridge formed a consortium to acquire a 51 percent majority stake in GD Towers, the telecommunications tower portfolio of Deutsche Telekom, in a deal valued at €17.5 billion. Deutsche Telekom retains the remaining 49 percent stake.

This acquisition is one of the largest telecom infrastructure deals in Europe in recent years and highlights the increasing demand for digital infrastructure as mobile networks continue to expand globally. It also reinforces Brookfield's reputation as a key player in the infrastructure investment space.
