GFL Environmental Inc., an environmental services company based in Vaughn, Ontario, acquired Sprint Waste Services.

Sprint Waste operated a vertically integrated network of solid waste assets across 14 sites in Texas and two in Louisiana, including two construction and demolition (C&D) landfills in the Greater Houston Area.

The acquisition included a fleet of over 400 vehicles and more than 500 employees.

The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
