Société BIC SA, a global leader in stationery, lighters, and shavers, announced the acquisition of Inkbox Ink Inc., a Toronto-based company specializing in semi-permanent tattoos. The transaction was valued at US$65 million, with an additional deferred consideration contingent upon Inkbox's future sales and profitability growth.

The deal was completed on February 1, 2022, with Inkbox continuing to operate as an independent subsidiary of BIC.
