Sundial Growers Inc. completed the acquisition of Alcanna Inc., the largest private-sector retailer of alcohol in Canada by number of stores, in a deal valued at approximately $320 million.

Alcanna's operations included 171 liquor retail locations across Alberta and British Columbia, operating under the banners "Wine and Beyond," "Liquor Depot," and "Ace Liquor." Additionally, Alcanna's majority-owned subsidiary, Nova Cannabis Inc., operated 78 cannabis retail stores across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Ontario under the "Value Buds" banner.
