SouthState Corporation completed its acquisition of Atlantic Capital Bancshares, Inc. through the merger of Atlantic Capital with and into SouthState, in a deal valued at approximately $542 million.

Atlantic Capital shareholders received 0.36 shares of SouthState common stock for each share of Atlantic Capital common stock.

Post-merger, Douglas L. Williams, former CEO of Atlantic Capital, became President of the Atlanta Banking Group and Head of Corporate Banking. urt A. Shreiner continued as President of the Corporate Financial Services division, focusing on FinTech and Payments businesses. Richard A. Oglesby Jr. remained President of the Atlanta division.
