NFP, a leading property and casualty broker, benefits consultant, wealth manager, and retirement advisor, announced its acquisition of Newport Private Wealth Inc., a Toronto-based private wealth management firm with approximately $4.3 billion in assets under management.

The transaction, which closed on June 30, 2022, expanded NFP's North American wealth management presence, bringing its total assets under management to nearly $50 billion. Newport Private Wealth continues to operate under its established brand, with its senior leadership team remaining in place.
