Blackstone Inc. announced a tender offer to acquire Infocom Corporation, a leading Japanese digital comic distributor and IT services provider. The offer was valued at approximately ¥275.8 billion (around $1.74 billion), with Blackstone proposing to purchase Infocom shares at ¥6,060 each.

This transaction marked Blackstone's largest private equity deal in Japan to date.

Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP advised Blackstone on the tender offer and related transactions, with Japanese law firm Anderson Mori & Tomotsune providing local legal expertise.
