On August 1, 2024, Canfor Corporation completed the recently announced acquisition of a lumber manufacturing facility in El Dorado, Arkansas, from Resolute El Dorado Inc., an affiliate of Domtar Corporation, for approximately $102 million (US$73 million).

The facility was subsequently renamed the Iron Mountain sawmill.
