Smiths Group PLC, a leading industrial technology company, announced the acquisition of Wattco Inc., a Canadian-based electric heating solutions provider. This strategic move aims to expand Smiths Group's presence in the electric heating market by integrating Wattco into its Flex-Tek division, which specializes in components for heating and moving fluids and gases.

The acquisition was completed in September 2024, with the integration of Wattco into Smiths Group's Flex-Tek division progressing as planned.
