On October 15, 2024, GreyLion Partners LP, a private equity firm specializing in high-growth businesses, made a significant equity investment in Birdseye Security Solutions, an Ontario-based provider of remote video monitoring and operations management solutions in North America for the transportation and logistics industries.

This marks Birdseye's first institutional capital since its founding in 2011 by CEO Mike Grabovica. The investment aims to scale Birdseye's technology platform and accelerate growth.

The financial terms of the transaction have not been publicly disclosed.

Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP advised Birdseye Security Solutions with a team consisting of André Perey, Sahil Chopra, Bryan Salazar (Emerging and High Growth Companies), Min Oh (Corporate) and Stephanie Cho (Osler Works – Transactional).
