On October 24, 2024, BP Energy Partners, LLC (BPEP), based in Dallas, completed a growth investment in Novitech, Inc., a leader in inline pipeline inspection technology and data analytics. The transaction marked the first investment from BPEP's Fund III. Founded in 2015 with support from the Campos Family of Companies, Novitech has developed its proprietary Micron technology, providing advanced flaw detection for liquid and gas pipelines. The technology enhances safety and integrity management for critical pipeline infrastructure.

The Campos Family, retaining a significant minority stake, expressed gratitude to Novitech's leadership, including Ron Thompson, Co-Founder and CEO, and highlighted plans to reinvest proceeds into their broader business ventures and philanthropy. Novitech aims to scale further with BPEP's strategic backing, addressing growing regulatory needs and extending infrastructure lifespans.

Legal advisors for the transaction included Greenberg Traurig, LLP and Torys LLP for Novitech, and Ropes & Gray LLP and The Garden Law Group for BPEP. Transaction value was not disclosed.
