On February 3, 2023, Environmental 360 Solutions Inc. (E360S) completed the acquisition of Local Waste Services Corp., a waste management company based in Edmonton, Alberta. Founded in 2016, Local Waste Services provides solid and liquid waste collection, portable toilet and fence rentals, and recycling services across Alberta and Saskatchewan, including a Class 2 landfill and recycling facility in Saskatchewan. The acquisition strengthens E360S' presence in these regions, enabling the company to offer a complete range of waste management solutions, including specialty waste streams.

Local Waste's founder and CEO, Chris LaBossiere, expressed excitement about the partnership with E360S, highlighting shared values of community connection and high-level customer service. E360S' CEO, Donato Ardellini, welcomed LaBossiere and his team, emphasizing the acquisition as a platform for growth in the area. Both companies aim to expand their local impact through this collaboration.

Miller Thomson LLP acted as legal counsel to E360S, while Bennett Jones LLP represented Local Waste Services Corp. Transaction value was not disclosed.
