On March 5, 2024, Morgan Truck Body, LLC completed the acquisition of Transit Truck Bodies Inc. (Les Fourgons Transit Inc.), a prominent truck body manufacturer based in Laval, Quebec, Canada. This strategic acquisition expands Morgan's footprint to 14 manufacturing facilities across North America. Transit, established in 1978 and led by President Louis Leclair, has earned a reputation for high-quality cutaway, dry freight, refrigerated, and custom truck body solutions over its 45-year history. The deal enhances Morgan's capability to serve the North American market, leveraging Transit’s skilled workforce and a 120,000+ square foot facility in Quebec.

Morgan Truck Body's leadership, including President Corby Stover and Chief Commercial Officer Tom Diez, expressed enthusiasm about integrating Transit’s expertise and facilities to better meet growing customer demands. The acquisition strengthens Morgan's commitment to innovation and quality in light- and medium-duty truck bodies.
