On August 1, 2024, Beacon Roofing Supply, Inc., acting through its subsidiary, Beacon Roofing Supply Canada Company, acquired all of the issued and outstanding shares of SSR Roof Supply Ltd., a distributor of residential and commercial roofing materials based in Surrey and Burnaby, British Columbia. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Beacon is a publicly traded Fortune 500 company that distributes specialty building products, including roofing materials and complementary products, such as siding and waterproofing.
