The transaction, initially announced on November 6, 2023, aimed to bolster Guidehouse's strategic growth plans. Guidehouse's existing management team, led by CEO Scott McIntyre, remained in place following the acquisition.

Scott McIntyre expressed gratitude for the partnership with Veritas Capital, under which Guidehouse experienced substantial growth, expanding nearly fivefold. He viewed the acquisition as a testament to Guidehouse's exceptional client delivery capabilities and anticipated continued evolution under Bain Capital's partnership.

Bain Capital, with operations in Canada, had a history of leveraging its global expertise to support the growth of its portfolio companies, including investments and partnerships with Canadian businesses?.
