Linamar acquires Salford for $260 million
On April 28, 2022, GenNx360 Capital Partners, a private equity firm based in New York, has successfully agreed to sell Salford Group, a manufacturer of tillage and crop nutrition application equipment, to Linamar Corporation for $260 million CAD, pending post-closing adjustments. The transaction's finalization is subject to customary closing conditions. Under GenNx360's ownership, Salford achieved significant organic growth and profitability increases by improving products, instilling operational excellence, and ensuring customer satisfaction with quality products and quick delivery times. Additionally, Salford expanded its operational footprint and diversified its product offerings through the strategic acquisitions of BBI, Aerway, and Valmar. Lloyd Trotter, GenNx360's Founder and Managing Partner, highlighted the successful investment in Salford as evidence of GenNx360's effective strategy, which focused on revenue growth, operational improvements, and exceptional customer service.
